Sharon D. Simms (SD Simms) embraces her commission from the Lord as an agent of encouragement and prayer warrior. A voracious reader, Sharon resides in East Texas. She yearns for everyone to sense and cling to God’s ever-presence, faithful promises and incomparable care. Sharon prays that her writing will ignite a fire for the Lord in each reader’s heart.
Simms thrives on interacting with people. Her published works include guest blogs, online articles for Christianity.com, Biblestudytools.com, Ibelieve.com, a pictorial devotion, and newspaper tributes. She posts words of encouragement on Facebook and daily video blogs to stimulate her audience and point a path to Jesus. Her first book, a prayer/devotional journal entitled The Lord Is…, was released in March 2025. Trekking Pebbled Paths With Jesus released fall 2025. It is the second book in the series, Lessons From The Father. Coming June 2026, Some Things Are Made of This, an anthology based on 80’s hits, featuring 17 authors.
